Tick Borne Encephalitis Vaccination

£65.00 (Adult) / £65.00 (Child)

Transmission is through the bite of an infected tick, most likely to occur during the spring and summer months when skin is exposed in rural areas.  Endemic throughout many European countries, it is recommended for those planning on spending a lot of time outdoors particularly in areas with high cases of infected ticks.  The disease can cause health complications including inflammation of the brain.

Highly preventable with the vaccine, which is available privately through our clinic.
