A serious and potentially fatal viral disease that is spread by mosquitoes in tropical parts of Africa and South America. It occurs in both jungle and urban environments and is particularly common in the rainy season.

We are able to offer our Yellow Fever vaccination service privately at all our pharmacies.  Please note, some countries require Yellow Fever vaccination certification on arrival.

When?

At least ten days prior to travel.   

What?

The vaccine is given as a single dose injection in the upper arm.  The vaccine usually lasts a lifetime.

Side Effects?

Possible mild symptoms such as headache and soreness at the site of the injection.

Suitable for children?

The vaccine is suitable for babies from nine months.

Additional Precautions:

Avoid being bitten by using mosquito repellent and covering up by wearing suitable clothing outdoors.
